Songs of March!

It's that time again where I tell you my most loved songs of March. I have a few more than usual this month, so get comfortable!

My first one is 'She Looks So Perfect' by 5SOS. It's so catchy and I'm just loving this song. It's one of those that brings your mood right up and I won't be getting bored of it any time soon.

Next up: 'Riptide' by Vance Joy. I was listening to the radio and this came on and I thought 'This is the perfect lookbook song' that is how it was introduced to me and I love it!

Now we have 'Word Up!' by Little Mix. I had to throw this in. Not only because It's by my all time favourite group ever, but also because It's really catchy and fun! The music video includes lots of familiar faces too.

I've been loving 'Last Night' by The Vamps. I don't think it's released yet, because I can't get it on Spotify, but It's catchy and fun!

In the last part, I  mentioned about The 1975. Since then, I've listened to their whole album and really enjoyed it! It's different, but enjoyable.

I love Becky CJ's covers on YouTube and her EP is just awesome! It's on Spotify and ITunes and It's called 'My Teenage Love Story'.

I have a bookmarked folder called 'Music' where I put the links to all of the songs from different YouTubers that I've been enjoying. I thought I'd share with you the list so here you go!

Sirens- Cher Lloyd

Let It Go/Let Her Go Mashup- Sam Tsui

Brain- Becky CJ

#SELFIE- Sam Tsui

That's it! I'll see you with another one of these in April!
Bye.

Question of the blog- What are your favourite songs at the moment.

Tanya Burr Lips & Nails Review

If you're a fan of the beauty world then you've probably heard about the gorgeous Tanya Burr's Lips & Nails range. Tanya is a YouTube vlogger and she makes awesome videos! I'm so pleased that she came out with her own products and I'd love to see more in the future!

I'm going to be reviewing her products in today's post, so let's start with the lip gloss...

The lip glosses retail for £6.99 which is a really good price, because they are great quality! The colour I got was Afternoon Tea. All of the lip glosses have cute names and if you don't like this colour, you will definitely find one you love. There's everything from nudes and pinks to reds and purples, so there's something for everyone. The smell of the glosses is amazing and I would eat it if I could! The applicator is a doe foot applicator that fits comfortably on the lips and is easy to apply the product with. The glosses are very highly pigmented and are so creamy and moisturising. They are shiny and look amazing on the lips. Afternoon Tea is a pretty pinky-nude colour and, even though it looks great on it's own, it would also pair well with a lipstick. I would definitely recommend these glosses and I'll definitely be buying more of the colours!

The nail polishes retail for £5.99. I got the colour Mini Marshmallows which is a gorgeous pale pink. I was torn between so many others though, so I really want to get Little Duck and Mischief Managed as well! Every time I hear the name Little Duck it reminds me of The Hunger Games (hopefully you get that reference) which I don't think was intended with the name. Sadly, I do have a negative about the nail polishes. The packaging may loom gorgeous, but it is so difficult to remove and you have to make sure you don't put the lid back on too tight. Sometimes the square cap will come off, revealing a lid like a normal polish, but once you've got into the product it starts to improve! The formula of these polishes is awesome. I probably didn't choose the best colour in terms of opacity, because pale pinks tend to be quite sheer. I found myself using 3 coats for full opacity, but 2 coats creates a really lovely effect where your nails still show through very slightly, which I love! In terms of lasting, it is one of the best polishes by far! I had this on for a full week before removing to touch up again, but this was only because my shoddy nail painting skills got the better of me and it was starting to annoy me. Overall they are great polishes and absolutely beautiful colours!

Let me know if you'd like to see more reviews on my blog. I know I said I'd do a video about these products, but I haven't got around to it yet. Hopefully I will get that done soon! I'm really rubbish with filming and blogging lately, sorry:(

On a positive note, the weather is improving in the UK, yay!

See you soon<3

Question of the blog- Have you tried Tanya Burr's range?

Blogger's Block

Long time, no speak!

I'm SO sorry that I've been absent on my blog for 2 weeks. I'm finding it really tough to find inspiration for posts and I'd rather give you something that is well thought and written rather than a rushed, bad quality post.

I love to hear your thoughts on what you enjoy reading, so if you could leave your opinions and ideas in the comments that'd be awesome! Video ideas for my YouTube channel would also be massively appreciated! I'm going through a blogger's/youtuber's midlife crisis XD

Love you guys and I'll be back on track soon, I promise!

Vlog In A Blog

The reason this is called 'Vlog In A Blog' is because I wanted to do a quick update of my week/weekend, but instead of filming it, I thought I'd write about it.

I've had quite a lot of homework, but we're going to push that aside and look at the positives! I got a new candle which you will know about if you've read my blog for a while. I've wanted it for ages and never bought it, but I got it on sale at House Of Fraser for £6.95!

I also got the cutest notebook everrrr! You may notice the colourful fineliners. I love making notes and writing in bright colours, it makes me happier to read them back and makes everything look prettier!

I've been looking at clothes online lots lately and saw some cat printed tights on ASOS that I thought were so adorable! They were £8 and I really wanted them, but I saw some which were pretty much identical in Primark for just £2.50 so I picked them up and they look so cute!

I decided to give up chocolate for lent and It's been going well so far. However, I've decided to settle with having it once a week on a Saturday so that I still get a treat :) Even after lent is over I'll still carry on with this, because I feel like it will make me feel much better! I've also been trying to have a banana for breakfast as oppose to nothing (:S) and exercise a lot more!

The book I've been reading recently is The Hunger Games. I watched the film a week ago and I'm just over halfway through the book. When I've finished reading it, I'm going to read and watch the second one! I'll also read the third one and wait for it to be released in the cinema! haha. I'm loving the book so far as it really portrays what I saw in the film well and has more detail (as you'd expect from the book.)

I'm also loving my nail polish at the moment! It's 'Greenberry' from Barry M.

It won't be staying for much longer though. On Friday I ordered some things from Tanya Burr's makeup line. I got the nail polish in 'Mini Marshmallows' and the lipgloss in 'Afternoon Tea'. I'm in LOVE with the names! As soon as I receive them, I'll be doing a first impressions review on my YouTube channel AND on here so stay tuned!

Finally I wanted to share this quote with you:

I've had the plaque for a while and it sits on my shelf. I was messing around with my camera yesterday (as you can see by the pictures!) and photographed it so I thought I'd add it in here!

That's it! Let me know what posts you'd like to see in the future and I'll see you soon!

Question of the blog: How was your week?

Things I Want To Do More Of

A couple of posts ago, I mentioned doing a post like this so here it is! Things I want to do more of...
1) Take Pictures- I hinted on this before and I feel like I don't do it enough at ALL. Especially on my Canon 600D (or my 'big boy camera' as I like to call it.) Taking pictures is so important. Here is what I asked on the other post: 'In the Summer holidays this year I'm going to go out loads of places and take my camera to most of them! I want to take loads of pictures and share them with you guys in one big post at the end of Summer. If you follow me on instagram, tumblr, or are subscribed to my YouTube channel, please don't be afraid to spam me with comments reminding me to go out, take pictures, live in the present and HAVE FUN! (It'll really help me out.)'
So please don't hesitate to do so!

2) Make the most of things- This is kind of a broad one, but I feel like I don't enjoy things enough and I'm always tense or worried about the future. I need to relax a little more and live in the present which I've said multiple times!

3) Save my money- I'm a massive spender and I want to make sure I'm spending my money wisely and on what I'm certain won't be a waste.

4) Exercise- I'm not doing this for any reason other than to keep fit & healthy. I think it's so important and if I start now, when I'm an adult I'll (hopefully) benefit from it!

5) Eat healthier- Following on from the last one it keeps my body healthy, but also, healthy food looks so delicious and appetising and I'm very fussy so I'd love to experiment with new and exciting foods and flavours! (That was such a long sentence, wow.)

So that's it for today's post. Let me know what other posts you'd like to see and I'll see you soon. Bye!

Question of the blog: What would be on your list?

Spring Is Here (Kind Of)

Hey! Spring is finally starting to make an appearance and the weather seems to be getting a tad warmer. I can't believe it's March already. I love being able to light citrus and fun smelling candles, wear bright nail polish, wear cute, pastel clothes and makeup and most of all, enjoy the nice weather! I am all hyped up for Spring/Summer, but I need to do some fun things so that it lives up to my expectations.

Last year in the school holidays I just sat indoors and it made me feel really down in the dumps. This year, however, I'm going to try my best to be happy and enjoy myself, because I always miss certain times when they pass, even if they seemed to be bad at the time.

In my brain I'm a 20 year old, I swear! I already want my own house, job, money and to be able to do what I like without 'stuff' getting in the way. I'm looking too far into the future and need to stay in the present a bit more!

In the Summer holidays this year I'm going to go out loads of places and take my camera to most of them! (It'll really help me out.)

I hope your spring is filled with fun and I'll see in my next post, which will be another uplifitng and happy post. Bye!
