So it's Monday again and I'm back to sort out your Monday blues.
Today I wanted to talk about regrets and opportunities. I feel like when we are given an opportunity we immediately think about whether we'll feel scared or how it will turn out and this causes us to say no. Saying no is the option we find easiest and, when in doubt, is the first thing we say.
In The End, We Only Regret The Chances We Didn't Take.

The quote above is very important to me, because it slots in with part of one of my New Year's resolutions, being to say yes to more opportunities. If I'm given an opportunity, no matter how big or small, I'm going to step out of my comfort zone and say yes. If you don't enjoy it, you don't have to do it again, simple as that. When you're older and you're looking back on your life, you want to remember things because you had the chance to do them and you took that chance. Personally, I would rather say 'I can't believe I did that,' than 'I wish I had done that.' Don't think about things too deeply, as you'll often be worrying over things that are nothing.

You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.

I love this quote, because it's a twist on the original 'YOLO' quote. I think that this also projects that seizing opportunities and getting the best out of life is the best way to live and even you have to take risks, it's all worth it in the end, because every day that you spend sitting there is another day wasted. Get out and enjoy the one life that you get.
That's all for today! Don't forget to let me know what you would like to see in future Merry Monday posts!
Question of the blog: What do you want to do before you die?
